INLOG aims to extend its production lifetime of its embedded range from 3 to 5 years. To achieve this we design-in long life warranties by selecting only major components for our embedded designs that come with guaranteed long term availability. In cases like INLOG will automatically inform affected OEM partners at least 90 days prior to applying the changes.

INLOG provides six months in advance notification to affected OEM partners before discontinuing products in our embedded range. During this six months period, product orders will be normally accepted. In situations where key components phase out, INLOG is committed to work with its partners to find a solution that can satisfy their needs.

In order to reach this goal, we now strictly comply RoHS Directive in our products.

The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". This Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead(Pb), cadmium(Cd), mercury(Hg), hexavalent chromium(Cr-VI), polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

The directive comes into force across Europe on July 1st 2006, from this date on all new electronic and electrical equipment manufactured for resale within Europe must meet the guidelines as set out by the directive, however the directive does reference a list of categories and exemptions to be considered by producers (refer to your local RoHS legislation for details).
